Wenger wants Hamburg midfielder Piotr Trochowski

Latest transfer news are surfacing from the Premier League and Hamburg midfielder Piotr Trochowski has been revealed as a target for Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger.
Local British newspapers have reported that Wenger is likely to make Hamburg a £5m offer as he bids to find a replacement for French midfielder Mathieu Flamini and give some support to Cesc Fabregas.
Piotr Trochowski is a German footballer of Polish origin who plays as an attacking midfielder for Hamburger SV and Germany. He is well known for his powerful shots.
Piotr Trochowski has so far played a total of 93 matches for Hamburg and scored a total of 8 goals for the German side. Trochowski also has 15 international caps for the German national side.

Chelsea targets Dutch midfielder Van Der Vaart

Interesting transfer news are coming out of the Premier League and it has been reported that Chelsea FC are making a move for Hamburg and Dutch International midfielder Rafael van der Vaart.
Local British newspapers have reported that sacked Chelsea boss Avram Grant is believed to have had Van der Vaart on his radar before being sacked at Stamford Bridge last weekend.
It is now believed that the Blues will press ahead with signing the players the Israeli had earmarked for this summer.
It is alos reported that the £15million-rated Hamburg captain has so far refused all offers to sign an extension to his current deal, which runs out in 2010.

Euro 2008 news are out and Czech manager Karel Bruckner on Wednesday dished two surprises as he named his 23-strong squad to take part in June’s Euro 2008 in Austria and Switzerland.
One notable omission to the Czech squad is former captain and Juventus midfield star Pavel Nedved, whose comeback for the tournament had been the subject of speculation.
However, the Czechs who face Switzerland in their opening match on June 7 has included a surprise call up in striker Vaclav Sverkos of Czech side Banik Ostrava.

Arsenal targets Hamburg defender Vincent Kompany

Sensational transfer news are out and it has been reported that Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is planning a £15 million bid for Hamburg’s young defender Vincent Kompany.
Local British newspapers has reported that the Belgian centre-back had been on the radar of the Arsenal boss prior to his move to the Bundesliga for £5.1million two years ago.
It is reported that Wenger believes that the 22-year-old star, rated one of the best young defenders in Europe, is now ready for the Premier League.
It is also reported that Kompany had an offer from Chelsea that he rejected even though Chelsea were willing to double the salary that he was earning at Anderlecht. The player was also reported saying that he would rather never go to Chelsea than go at a bad moment.
Kompany has so far played 21 games for Hamburg and scored 3 goals so far for the German club.
