April 29, 2008
Sensational transfer news are out from Old Trafford and it is reported that Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson is in the process of considering a bid for Blackburn Rovers striker Roque Santa Cruz.
It is believed that Sir Alex Ferguson wants a mobile centre-forward added to his squad next season and after receiving little encouragement from Tottenham over Dimitar Berbatov, is now turning his attention to the Paraguay international striker Santa Cruz.

Santa Cruz has so far played a total of 35 games for Blackburn Rovers and scored an impressive 17 goals along the way. Cruz has also 57 caps for the Paraguay national side and scored 18 goals for his country.
