AC Milan targets Real Madrid defender Sergio Ramos

Sensational news are out and it is reported that Italian giants AC Milan are preparing to launch a bid for unsettled Real Madrid and Spanish international defender Sergio Ramos.

It was earlier reported that Ramos hit out at teammates and the Real Madrid management last week over the lack of support he had received in the wake of his dismissal against Real Mallorca.

Media reports in Italy says that AC Milan are preparing a £4.5 million a year package for the Spanish defender to consider and it is reported that the player said that the interest of AC Milan makes him happy.

Ramos has become well known for his striking qualities in Madrid over his past seasons with Real, having scored almost 20 goals in the Los Blancos shirt. In a recent interview, he revealed that he used to play as a striker when he was younger and eventually became a defender as he grew older.

By the 2007-2008 season, Ramos had established himself one of the pivotal members of Real Madrid’s first team and one of the world’s premier defenders, highly rated by both fans and his footballing peers.

In 2008, legendary AC Milan defender Paolo Maldini even named Ramos as his potential “successor” at Milan, saying that the Spanish right-back is developing into “the best defender in the world.”
