December 31, 2007
News are out that Chelsea have failed with a stunning £60 million offer for Inter Milan stars Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Maicon.
Ibrahimovic as an ideal replacement for Didier Drogba by Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich while defender Maicon is seen as a solution to their problems at right-back.
Media reports says that says Inter president Massimo Moratti turned down identical offers of £60 million from both Chelsea and Real Madrid for his star duo ahead of the January market.
